Borst Flowers

At Borst Flowers, we grow more than 25 varieties of peonies across approximately 15 hectares. Quality and distinctive characteristics are central to the selection of our peonies. We continue to look for new varieties that add value for both growers and consumers. For some varieties, we are currently one of the few suppliers on the market.

United States

In the United States (Virginia), we work together with Bloomia. Together, we grow peonies that are marketed directly in the American market. We are responsible for growing the peonies, while Bloomia manages their distribution in the American market.

Bloomia also operates a tulip forcing facility, producing tulips throughout the year for the American market.

Chile

Since 2018, we have been working with other companies and Southern Peonies in Chile. The climate in Chile, located in the Southern Hemisphere, is highly suitable for growing peonies. This allows us to harvest peonies as early as November.

The peony flowers from Chile are marketed in the Dutch and American markets.

Decorum plants & flowers

Decorum Plants & Flowers has been a well-known quality brand within the international ornamental horticulture sector since 1999. The cooperative consists of more than 50 selected flower and plant growers, who together bring more than 4.000 products to market under Decorum and Feel Green brands.

Decorum focuses on various markets, including flower exporters, garden centres, florists and retail. Quality, sustainability and innovation are the heart of the organisation.

Decorum aims to have all affiliated members certified to at least Global Gap or MPS-GAP standards. Borst Bloembollen also holds a Global Gap certificate.
